Ciao! I am Gennaro Avitabile, a postdoctoral researcher at IMDEA Software Institute in Madrid (Spain) hosted by Dario Fiore. In March 2023, I have obtained my PhD from the University of Salerno (Italy), my advisor was Ivan Visconti. My research interests lie in both the theoretical and practical aspects of cryptography, with applications to security and privacy. You can find a list of my works in my publications page.
I was born in Pompei (yes, the city still exists), close to Naples (Italy). My favorite food is neapolitan pizza.
